30 Poets Video Project for National Poetry Month

Awarded an Al Smith Fellowship from the Kentucky Arts Council
This summer the Kentucky Arts Council announced the recipients of ten Al Smith Individual Artist Fellowships, a program to support Kentucky artists engaged in creating artwork of high quality and to recognize creative excellence in practicing, professional Kentucky artists. Dan Bernitt received a fellowship in playwriting, a $7,500 award which he will use to help support himself as he crafts new performance work.
